  • To become familiar with the testing options for deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, and new developments in the field
  • To understand how patients with deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism are risk stratified
  • To understand how patients with deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism are treated including anticoagulant therapy and catheter based treatment.

Dr Carole Ridge is a consultant cardiothoracic and interventional radiologist at Royal Brompton Hospital, specialising in lung tumour ablation, cardiac imaging and quantitative imaging of the lungs.
