Overview

We have come a long way in the development of percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), from a simple balloon treatment to complex interventions.  

Our consultant cardiologist, Dr Johnathan Hill, provides discusses the revolution of complex PCI, a speciality in which he is renowned. In this talk, he focuses on applications and techniques, whilst aligning the context to complete revascularization of higher risk indicated patients (CHIP) cases.

Dr Jonathan Hill

Dr Jonathan Hill is a consultant cardiologist at Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals. He has a special interest in acute myocardial infarction and new biological therapy, and his clinical expertise is in cardiovascular risk assessment, interventional cardiology and cardiac CT. 

In addition to this, Dr Jonathan Hill remains actively involved in research, most notably in stem and progenitor cells within cardiovascular disease.
