Healthcare professionals are invited to join Royal Brompton's Hospital's Respiratory Grand Round, Thursday 10th November, 1PM.

This is a hybrid event; to join in-person at the Paul Wood lecture theatre at Royal Brompton, or virtually online.

For those attending in-person, a room will be available prior to the sessions from 12.30pm for networking and light refreshments.

Professor Debby Bogaert is Chair of Paediatric Medicine at the Centre for Inflammation Research, University of  Edinburgh, and works as consultant in paediatric infectious diseases at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (RHCYP) in Edinburgh. She also leads a research group at the UMC Utrecht and RIVM in The Netherlands.

professor Bogaert's group studies early life microbiome development and host-microbiome-environmental interactions in relation to health and respiratory disease in a global context. Their aim is to develop new strategies to diagnose, treat and prevent acute infections and long-term health consequences.
